Privacy Policy

This page explains what Vyrolclip collects, why we need it, who can see it and how you stay in control of it. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

What we collect

  • To sign you in: your phone number or email, your name, and a cookie that keeps you signed in. We don’t use passwords.
  • To check your identity: the type of document you choose, your legal name, date of birth and mobile number, photos of your document, and a photo of you.
  • To pay you: your eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay or bank details, any QR image you upload, and a record of every payment.
  • To count your clips: the social media accounts you link, the links to the posts you send us, their numbers, and any statistics screenshots or recordings you send when you cash out.
  • For campaigns: what you tell us when you ask for one, the files you give us and your payment references.
  • To stop abuse: the network address used to request a sign in code, and how often.

If you log in with TikTok

You choose to do this, and TikTok asks for your permission first. With it, we read:

  • Your basic profile: your TikTok account IDs, display name, username and profile picture link. This shows the account is yours, signs you in if you choose that, and shows your account on Vyrolclip.
  • Your videos: the ID, date, views, likes, comments and shares of your videos. We use these numbers only for the clips you send us, to track their views and work out what you earn.

We can’t see your password or your messages, and we never post, edit or delete anything on your account. We don’t download your videos, and TikTok information is never used for advertising or sold.

The access keys TikTok gives us are stored encrypted. We use them only to read the numbers above. TikTok handles your information under its own Privacy Policy.

If you log in with Instagram or Facebook

It works the same way. We read the account or Page ID, your name or username, and the numbers on the posts you send us. We never see your password or messages, and we never post for you.

Who can see it

  • Our staff, to review clips, check identities and send payments. Their actions are logged. Identity photos and QR images are private files, shown only to you and our staff.
  • The business behind a campaign sees totals for that campaign, such as spending, views and the number of clippers. It never sees your phone number, identity documents or payment details.
  • Anyone visiting the site can see campaign leaderboards, which show handles and view counts, and recent clips with the handle partly hidden.
  • Companies that help us run the service: our hosting provider, our text message and email providers, who see the number or address we send to, and the social media platforms you choose to connect.
  • The authorities, only when the law requires it.

How we protect it

The site uses encrypted connections, access keys are stored encrypted, and private files are never public. Only signed in staff can open them. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us straight away if you think something is wrong.

How long we keep it

  • Sign in codes stop working after 10 minutes.
  • Platform access keys are deleted as soon as you disconnect the account from Vyrolclip.
  • Identity details, clips and payment records are kept while your account is open, and for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records.
  • If you ask us to close your account, we delete the rest, except what we must keep for payments already made or still owed.

Your choices

  • Disconnect TikTok or another platform: go to Linked accounts on Vyrolclip. You can also remove Vyrolclip in your TikTok settings, in the list of apps connected to your account. Either way we stop reading your numbers, and our staff check views by hand from then on.
  • See, correct or delete your information: write to [email protected] from your account’s phone or email details, and we will help you.

Children

Vyrolclip is for people aged 16 and older. If you think someone younger has an account, tell us and we will close it.

Changes and contact
